◆ PA1012 Material : Chemical Name: Polydecamethylene dodecylamide (PA1012)
A long-chain aliphatic nylon synthesized by condensation polymerization of decamethylenediamine and dodecanedioic acid, with some monomers derived from castor oil, making it a semi-bio-based nylon.
Positioning: A high-cost-performance alternative to PA12, already mass-produced at scale by the company.
◆ PA1012 Characteristics : 1. Extremely low water absorption and excellent dimensional stability, with minimal size change in both dry and wet conditions, preventing part swelling or deformation—ideal for precision components. 2. Superior low-temperature toughness, maintaining high elasticity at -40°C, resistant to cracking even after repeated bending, offering significantly better cold resistance than PA612 and PA610. 3. Excellent oil and chemical resistance, tolerating engine oil, fuel, hydraulic fluid, alcohols, and weak acids/bases; low permeability to fuel and gas. 4. Low friction, self-lubricating, and wear-resistant, suitable for sliding friction parts; smooth inner walls make it ideal for fluid piping. 5. Outstanding dielectric properties, suitable for insulating sleeves and cable sheaths.
◆ PA1012 Purpose : 1. Automotive industry (the largest application) Fuel delivery pipes, vacuum hoses, pneumatic brake lines, air conditioning lines, wire harness corrugated tubes, pipe joints; insulation sleeves for new energy batteries. 2. Industrial fluid pipelines Pneumatic hoses, hydraulic hoses, oil-resistant hoses for construction machinery. 3. Cables and insulation Special cable sheaths, optical fiber protective tubes. 4. Mechanical wear-resistant parts Bearings, cams, sliders, gears. 5. Others Sports goods, micro-cellular foam shoe materials, 3D printing powder, inner linings of rotational molding tanks.
